The North Tongu District Assembly conducted a capacity-building training session in May ,2024, focusing on the Client Service Operational Manual within the Local Government Service. The training aimed to enhance service delivery and address challenges faced by the assembly. Facilitated by the Volta Regional Co-ordinating Council, the session targeted heads of departments and selected staff, with 30 officers participating. The workshop emphasized understanding different types of clients, utilizing client forms effectively, and implementing systematic approaches for processing inquiries. It employed participatory methods, with presentations and discussions led by Mr. Daniel K. Gbologa and Mr. Atsu Awayenu. The training was well-organized, engaging, and timely, resulting in enhanced staff knowledge and commitment to service excellence. Recommendations included organizing more training programs, encouraging staff development, and implementing feedback mechanisms to monitor service quality. Notable achievements included improved understanding of client service best practices and enhanced coordination among departments to streamline service processes.
